Tabitha wakes up in the middle of the night to find a very interesting spirit standing by her bed. This spirit tells her that she is a death guide, and she informs Tabitha that she will come back to summon her in just two days. This doesn’t scare Tabitha at all, as she is not one to question things, and she doesn’t think it matters to try and talk her way out of dying, instead she sparks up a conversation with the spirit, and starts to ask her some questions.
This confuses the guide, and throws her off balance because it seems that she doesn’t really know the answers to the questions that Tabitha is asking, and she can’t remember who she was before she died, let alone her name.
Tabitha gives the spirit a job, that job is to remember her story and tell it the next time that the two meet. This prompts the death guide to go back to her realm, with her fellow death guides, and ask them questions about how they died. They can all remember who they were, and suggest she meet up with the Grim Reaper to discuss the events that surround her death.
She does just that, and you will have to go read the story to find out what happens next, the ending is truly interesting and not what I was expecting at all. This story was sort of cute, in a really macabre way, but I liked it a lot. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
