Rock Stars are Trouble

I must say, before I begin the review, that this isn’t my typical type of book. I usually, as you guys probably know, don’t go for the books with hunky dudes on the cover. The reason I decided to review Rock Stars are Trouble by Kelly D. Smith, was the way that Kelly presented the book to me. I actually didn’t even see the cover until after she emailed me. This is a typical case of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”, because really this book is so much more than the artwork!

After being cheated on by her last rock star boyfriend, Kenda vows that she will never put herself in that position again. After all, she’s pretty sure that all rock stars are trouble. None of them seem to really care about anything but getting girls, and their music, so it’s not really worth her time anyway. Kenda works as a writer for a music site, so she is inevitably put into a postion where she has to interview a super attractive rock star named Greyson. Kenda is put off by this, but figures she will just go into the interview and only ask the questions that she has to ask and then get on with her day.

Of course, the interview doesn’t work out the way she wants to, and she ends up finding out that Greyson isn’t as shallow and rude as he may have seemed at first. The two get to know each other a little better, and some steamy nights await them.

If you are looking for an easy, romantic, or erotic book, then go no further. I enjoyed the writing in this, sometimes erotic fiction can seem a little “out there”, but this one was fun to read and not too unbelievable. It was pretty quick to read, only about 130 pages give or take, so it’s fast fun and a thrill ride. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
