This story is utterly stunning. I don’t know about you, but there is a soft spot in my heart for books that interconnect people, and intertwine lives in ways that you couldn’t even imagine. Jagged Edge of the Sky by Paula Marie Coomer is the perfect example of how life, love and chance can bring people together.
Not only does this story revolve around different people, it takes place in different parts of the world. Though you will see many characters in this book, I guarantee that one of them will strike a cord with you. For me, it was the mothers, for you it could be the man that walked too close to the dock, or it could be the mental health worker that struggles with addiction. Either way, you will find this to be a wonderful book with characters that are so vibrant and real you would think you were watching them through their windows.
Even though this book was very good, and very real, I had to set it down a few times just because of the fact that it was so emotional and powerful. I needed to give my head and heart a break from the emotions, before returning to the characters. I loved every second of this novel, and feel that it is extremely diverse in stories and outcomes.
There were parts of this book that I couldn’t want to find out what happened, and there were parts of this book that I didn’t know if I wanted to end, it is a complete mix of emotions, and it is definitely a thrill ride. I encourage everyone to peek into the pages of this book! I give this book 5 out of 5 stars, I received this in exchange for an honest review.
