The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

If you are looking for an advent calendar type book filled with beautiful Christmas sayings and Jesus filled stories, then you don’t have to go far. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Ace Collins is a cute little book that will have you filled with holiday cheer from the very first page.

The book starts on December 1st, and doesn’t end until December 31st, so you can keep the Christmas cheer going all month long. First you will find a sweet story, then a lovely scripture-esque saying, and finally a recipe or idea for a gift. This continues through each day, and you will seriously feel the magic floating off of every page.

Since it is only November, I didn’t want to read every single page because I really wanted to do this in December, so I skimmed a lot and found it to be a very sweet book. The only issue I really had with it, was the fact that it was a little confusing toward the beginning. Though this book isn’t meant to be read cover to cover in one sitting, but more meant for a little delight on each day of the month, it can still be a little hard to understand at times.

What I really liked was that there was something different on each day, sometimes you would get a recipe for cookie butter, another day you may get an idea for a cute gift to make for a loved one. I had a lot of fun reading this, and will definitely be looking back into it once the new month starts. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and I received it from Litfuse Publicity Group in exchange for an honest review.
