Jackie “Jax” Sullivan was not looking for love after her failed marriage, but when she takes a Jeep tour, she can’t help but think about all of the things she could do with, and to, the tour guide Rick. In Jeep Tour by Gail Ward Olmsted, the romance heats up, and the humor flies off the handles.
When college professor Jax heads off to Arizona for a convention, she is blindsided by the attractive tour guide she and her best friend have on their Jeep tour. She is definitely even more blindsided when she decides to pack up her life, and move to Arizona to start over new.
I think we’ve all had the notion to just up and leave. I know I have, and to read about someone doing that and being happier because of it, is very inspiring. Jax, and her humor was one of my favorite things about this book. She had such a positive outlook on everything, even when she really had no idea what she was doing, it was incredible to read.
The book was so easy to get caught up in, and so fun to read. Plus, it has a powerful message. I can’t wait to see more of Jax in the next book in the series, Driving on the Left, which I should be reviewing in the next couple of weeks.
