Moving Book Purge

IMG_5026

Moving is hard guys, especially when you have a million books to take along with you. That’s why I had to go through my books and decide what I was and wasn’t going to take with me to the new house. After much deliberation, and 4 boxes of donated books, I’ve kept these 17 books around because I’m not sure if I want to keep them or not.

My plan is to read the first chapter of each book, and decide based on if it interests me or not, and if it isn’t something that I want to continue with, I’ll donate it along with the other boxes I’ve already gotten rid of.

If you can’t see in the picture, I’ll list the books here:

Dark Fever by Karen Marie Moning

Prospect Street by Emilie Richards

The Edge of Ever and The Edge of Always by J.A. Radmerski

Fledgling by Octavia Butler

Stay by Deb Caletti

Being Sloane Jacobs by Lauren Morrill

A Desirable Residence by Madeleine Wickham (AKA Sophie Kinsella)

Variant by Robinson Wells

This Lullaby, Dreamland, The Truth About Forever, Just Listen, and Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

Dark Companion by Marta Acosta

Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

So tell me, have you read any of these books, are they worth keeping? I’m going to have to start checking them out soon, but I’m finishing the Off the Bookcase book first!

  2. I have read Stay by Deb Caletti, and all of Sarah Dessen’s book and in my opinion, I think they are worth keeping. Unless you don’t want to and want to generously donate them to m. I will be willing to accept. LOL XD

  3. Oh goodness, moving is such a chore! I understand needing to unload the books instead of moving them with you. I haven’t read any of these, though.
